Silent Support weekend 2026
Help make Silent Support Weekend bigger (and quieter) than ever

When Sidelines are silent, players on the pitch can find their voice. That’s why we’re asking all parents, carers and spectators to join in and stay quiet for Silent Support Weekend – 14th – 15th November 2026. Not only does it take the pressure off players, but it also improves behaviour, too, with 97% of the participants in the last event in March feeling behaviour improved, or stayed the same.
All we ask is that for one weekend, spectators stay silent, applauding good play only, while coaches offer quiet encouragement. All other noise, comments and complaints can have the weekend off. Spread the word around your club, coaches, parents and players.
