New children attend our Juniors section (school years 2-4) which meets 9:30-10:30 every Saturday and plays in the area immediately behind the Cheam Park Cafe & tennis courts, next to our green storage container (this is Cheam Park Recreation Ground accessed from Malden Road/Tudor Close).

 

The Juniors will do a mix of ball skills, fun exercises and mini matches each week. The sessions are led by our Seniors league managers, young helpers some of whom are doing their Duke of Edinburgh volunteering and some of our new team managers.

Please ensure you 'sign in' each week at the desk (indoors at rear of the cafe/pavilion), so we know you're here!

Don't forget...

​

• Shin pads underneath long socks/trousers are essential to play

• Football boots are needed - if you don't have them already, we have a number of second hand boots you are welcome to help yourself too - just come 10 minutes early to see what you can find 

• No jewellery may be worn, please remove any earrings before leaving home to avoid losing them

• Bring a drink of water

• Bring a waterproof coat / suncream / hat as appropriate.

• In winter have lots of layers to keep warm - we recommend having 'base layer' tops and leggings. If you're new to football, do chat to us and we can help you!

Please do not leave your child unattended with us at any time unless another adult is present to care for your child. We don’t have enough helpers to bring them to you if they are injured or upset, which can happen a lot with the little ones, so we rely on you keeping an eye out for them. Please ensure you are easily visible at the end of the session from 10:30am.

Once you've had a few sessions with us, we ask for a voluntary membership payment of £40 for each family for the season which includes loan of kit for those in a team. If that is difficult for you, please have a quiet word at the desk as we provide free football for everyone.
