For each league game two points are awarded for a win and one point for a draw. For each cup game two points are awarded for a win and 1 point for a draw. An extra point is awarded for teams winning by two clear goals.

The maximum goal difference from any one League or Cup game that will be recorded in the league tables is 6 goals.

MINIMUM SQUAD SIZES

If a team fails to field a minimum squad size then the team forfeits the game and the opponents win by a 2:0 victory. Minimum squad sizes for 11-aside games are 8 players, 9-aside games 7 playes, 7-aside games 5 players and 5-aside games 4 players..

SUBSTITUTIONS

The Premiers, Intermediates, Colts, Bantams, Wildcats and Birds of Prey will do their substitutions at half time. If a player is injured and unable to continue then they may be substituted. For 5-aside games rolling substitutes are permitted. Please note Little League rules dictate that each player must get a minimum of half a game of football. In line with the Little League ethos all players should get an equal amount of playing time so Managers should ensure that substitutions are fairly spread amongst the team.

DOUBLE BANKERS

If we are unable to play a game due to the weather it may be necessary to play a ‘double banker’ in order to complete the season.

This is where each 25 minute period counts as a game in its own right thereby producing two separate results. At half time (12.5 minutes) the teams will swap sides and continue with no break/team talk from the Managers (Managers should not enter the field of play except to take over refereeing if applicable). Substitutions must be done at half time (12.5 minutes) for those leagues that do not have roll on / roll off subs. Once the first game has completed (25 minutes) the teams can take a short break as per normal before commencing the second game.

WOODLAND CREATURES, CADETS & BRAVES LEAGUES

In accordance with FA rules the Woodland Creatures and Braves Leagues will be non-competitive. This means that no results and League tables published. At the end of the season all players will be presented with a medal. The Cadets League will have a Cup competition which will run on the same basis as the other leagues.
