WSLL League Concept
The Little League concept, is to provide an environment where all children can enjoy themselves and learn to enhance their football skills.
WSLL is affiliated to the National Little League organisation (our parent body) and Surrey FA.
Whilst the competitions provide an environment where winning is rewarded, our ethos is much more on sportsmanship, camaraderie and fun and is the foundation stone on which our sportsmanship award is made.
Our ethos is to promote players to a higher standard of football, i.e. one that suits an individual’s playing abilities.
WSLL encourages the development of a wider network of friends, through trips to and visits from other clubs both within and external to the UK. Currently, WSLL has long standing exchange visits with Robur Et Velocitas in Holland and in the past with Shanklin FC in the Isle of Wight. All of the trips have both a football and social angle to them.
